EARLY PROJECT [AI] @reactorworld Reactor is an early-stage AI startup building technology for “world models.” World models are AI systems that can understand, simulate, and interact with entire environments like games, physical spaces, or virtual worlds in real time. The company ❒︎ Founded by Alberto Taiuti (CEO) and Bryce Schmidtchen (CTO). ❒︎ Team includes engineers from Apple, Meta, Google, Adobe, and Microsoft. ❒︎ Taiuti previously worked on 3D and generative AI (Luma Labs, Skydio, Apple Vision Pro). ❒︎ Schmidtchen is an ex-Apple Vision Pro engineer focused on realtime graphics and spatial computing. What they’re building ■ A foundational layer for world models, which could power: ■ AI-generated games and virtual worlds ■ realtime video and simulations ■ robotics and physical AI environments Developers are already experimenting with their tech in hackathons and prototypes, especially in gaming and interactive AI. Funding Reactor has raised money from top-tier investors, but the amount and investor names haven’t been publicly disclosed yet. Big picture Reactor is betting that world models will be the next major AI shift after LLMs, enabling AI to generate and interact with entire worlds instead of just text.

How I got my first Web3 job after 3 months ? Joined Web3 at the beginning of 2025 and 3 months later, I became a moderator for Irys. Not a huge role, but it paid $200–$300/month (sometimes ~$500). For someone new to Web3, that’s already a solid start. Most people say becoming a mod requires: - Join a project very early - Be active 24/7 - Reply fast and always be present - Bring positive energy and not act like a bot But nobody will tell you: > If the project posts something → write a summary > If the project launches testnet → create a guide > If the project has weak branding → help design a simple brand kit > If the project needs more members → look for partnerships with other communities or servers Some tips you NEED to know: - Look for chances to DM the CM - If you see a problem, bring a solution - Build your own vibe: tech, funny, helpful, hardworking - And please… don’t be biased Sometimes the CM just doesn’t see the vision. They might reject you for lack of experience. It happens, don’t take it personally. Final advice: choose projects carefully. Grinding months in a scam project is wasted time. Next thread, I’ll share how to find other Web3 jobs once you have your first experience.

People say 2025 is the year of Peanut Airdrops. But my first year in Web3 looked like this: > $16,000 from Plasma > $6,000 from Humidifi > $5,000 from Irys > $20 from Brevis > $? from Pharos Total: ~$27k+ But the reality behind it was different. I had to: - Work 6–8 hours daily as a community mod - Spend $1000/month just to maintain living expenses - Spend $3000+ on health because of staying up all night (time zone difference with most Web3 teams) - Deal with PTSD when results didn’t meet expectations - Miss many IRL opportunities Was it worth it? Honestly, I didn’t reach the level I expected. But I’m still quite satisfied with the result after my first year. Next thread, I’ll share a few tips that helped me survive in Web3.
