Growing up in the 80s and 90s, there was almost no sense of urgency to anything. If there was a huge world event, you watched the news at night and Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings or Dan Rather shared the highlights. There was no such thing as 24/7 coverage. There was no social media to foment fear and fomo. We didn’t even have the internet. We were unplugged most of the time. When you needed info, you checked an encyclopedia or waited until you could make it to the library. Work ended when you left. There was no mobile phone or computer at home to draw you back in. Nobody expected an immediate response to anything. Family time was uninterrupted. We didn’t stare at phones or have “urgent” messages to reply to. Free time was actually free. Access to all of the world’s information in real time is a blessing. Most of the rest of what has come with this access is horrible for mental health and humanity.

Reading the comments, you would think that there was a $30B hack. Stars Arena is a profitable service that makes money. The amount lost, $3m, is something that SA can recover in about 10 days or so. Worst case, the team can borrow $3m and pay it back with interest. Remember that Wormhole got hacked for $300m and is still around. Axie Infinity lost $625m and is still around. SA will definitely be around. There are some haters out there, which is a testament to SA's success. The bottom line is that SA is insanely fun and viral, and the hack is a mere speed bump on the path to buttoning down the contract.
