As I walk into the tunnel and enter half-time & ponder my “half time adjustments” (sports fans will get this) I thought about all the things I wanted to write about with the hopes that my birthday post could help someone … but what instead happened was all the words and thoughts cleared up into a very simple statement… I really believ the above statement .. what that little boy in the picture above didn’t realize as he took this pic in the USSR … was that he was going to be loved 🥰 so hard by his mother and father that it would create the clarity that ran his life ..you see my friends, Love ❤️ is the only answer .. when you love yourself for all your strength and weaknesses you become able to love others .. when you love others .. even when it’s hard, in fact especially when it’s hard .. that love creates positive impact .. if you are interested in giving me a birthday present .. pls leave a ♥️ emoji as a pledge that you will show love, bring love and deploy love today to someone .. someone who it may seem hard to do that for because they upset you or you aren’t use to deploying it in tough situations. @eddiegangland The first goal of an artist is to make art. The secondary goal is to be able to financially afford continue to make art. It sounds like you are just succeeding in fulfilling your secondary goal, but most people don’t get to that point, hence the hate.

This morning I was going to share some of the horrible DMs that I’ve gotten between yesterday and today regarding my painting that sold yesterday. Quite a few people are outraged that I sold one of my paper paintings for $12,000 and in the past 24 hours I’ve been called Evil, Greedy, Conceited, Selfish, and at least a dozen other more explicit words. What I sell my paintings for is quite frankly none of your business, and when I choose to share the purchase price because I’m happy or excited about the personal achievement, I’m totally allowed to do that. Paintings that are on paper in that size I usually sell for $3,000 - $7,000 depending on the work and this information was communicated to Alex but he offered me “double” and paid $12,000. Thank you to all the supporters that have poured out in the past 24 hours. I see you and appreciate every one of you.

Here is some straight edge tattoo flash I painted yesterday, I’m pretty happy with it.

I also started to read the New Testament of the Bible (OT is a little too weird at first), particularly Christs Sermon on the mount. Regardless of your beliefs, it might be helpful. It’s weird, but give it a shot. It’s helped me be more generous and treat others better.

I also realized that I have issues with substance abuse, particularly alcohol, which I have corrected and no longer drink. It was difficult at first because it was a crutch I leaned on to deal with my mental health and relationship issues, but it was just making everything worse
