Never had a smartwatch (prefer automatics 😉) but thinking of getting one to track blood pressure and other fitness stuff, any recommendations? Don't really care about the screen, mostly want the best health tracking metrics. Prefer not to charge every day.

@JSHyCS Failed transactions incur costs (making the chain inefficient), but in no way can be added up to valid txs. If you had to measure output of any kind of factory, non working units would never be added up. Chip production, were yield is an relevant metric is a good example

The Solana people are technically right here, btw. A failed tx still goes through the validation process, and incurs costs for the network. It is still an important metric to consider. However, it is misleading to consider them a part of “TPS”

Unpopular opinion: The senior developers who tell juniors “you don’t need to code on the weekends!” might mean well but the thing is, those seniors probably *did* code a lot on the weekends to get to where they are now.

@Doctor__A__ @monad_alexander Float will be low, for sure, and it might have an impact on short term price movements, but I'm not sure about that MC math. I expect most rational players to look at FDV from the start. I for one have the 42mil in mind since the whitepaper was published.

@monad_alexander initial supply, inflation rate, development allocation, and vesting schedules should all be studied closely. The MC at launch for instance will be 10x higher in 1 year without any change in price. 16-17x in 2 years.
