Yesterday i had my dms and tg chats spammed because pumpfun launched a charity coin feature without mentioning a coin that has been working with one for months already, none of them questioning it even held themselves. To the low iq this is big bad, to me it was validation that a thesis i had written and started pushing months ago is correct and a compliment which is ten fold better than a quick pump from short term people who just ape because of an interaction without understanding. Now not only has a feature been released entirely around that thesis but there is multiple people who i consider generally smart in this space writing big theories about how charity coins can change the outlook on memecoins and help onboard retail (they can it's early and so am i, again). Working with a charity helps to legitimise memecoins, people and entities who aren't crypto native (even some crypto native) would normally see the word memecoin and think scam! Since that's all they have heard about memecoins. They won't work with you or get involved with it. Doing things the right way with a charity can open up many doors normally closed shut to memecoin teams. As i explained in multiple posts throughout the months, with current outlook on memecoins from retail this is the perfect way to change public opinion on them by doing charity work, the trouble is it has always failed at an execution level with these sort of tokens. There is multiple reasons for this, the main one being that most people take the meme factor away from it and make it entirely about the charity with branding and name of the token, which kills the attention flywheel after the first bit of hype. Attention -> more donations -> more attention. Another reason is it needs to be the right charity, they need to be on board and understand your vision for you to be able to execute properly alongside them. Hence i zoom called Shaney first, we had a chat i realised her whole charity foundation is about using art to create and drive attention, she was down to earth and up a laugh, it was the perfect opportunity to execute on my theory.
