The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) is an annual survey conducted by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to gauge the perceptions of federal employees regarding their work environment. When asked what happens to "poor performers" on their teams, over 40% (a plurality) answered that they "remain in the work unit and continue to underperform." Note: Respondents could select more than one answer.
