First it started with an attack on Qatar's largest LNG hub, which produces 20% of the global LNG supply. The attack nearly damaged 17% of Qatar's LNG capacity, or 4% of global LNG supply. Now here's why this is really bad: The QatarEnergy CEO said today that it would take 3-5 years to repair the damage. As of now, China imports almost 30% of its LNG from Qatar.
