The years that matter most in markets rarely announce themselves. 2025 was one of those years. Not because of price action or headlines, but because of what quietly settled into place underneath. > Settlement pathways simplified. > Stablecoin infrastructure matured. > The gap between what's technically possible and what's legally viable started narrowing. What I'm watching in 2026 isn't a single catalyst. It's how many separate pieces - custody, compliance, execution, liquidity - are finally being designed to work together rather than around each other. That's usually when industries stop experimenting and start compounding. Here's to building what lasts.

Most of the failures that matter lately have come from assumptions colliding across layers like liquidity depending on timing, pricing depending on external state, and risk controls activating out of sequence. What ends up mattering is coherence at the system level. Understanding that interaction surface is becoming more important than inspecting any single piece in isolation.
