Sibyl Labs has shifted from conceptual "AI agent" hype to shipping core infrastructure. The focus this week was on Memory and Inference, the two biggest bottlenecks for decentralized AI.
1. Product & Infrastructure Ships
• Memory Layer Launch: Released a local-first, Postgres-backed distributed memory architecture. It scored 95.6% on LongMemEval, solving the "context window" gap for agents like @NousResearch Hermes.
• Inference Integration: Partnered with @AskVenice to run their distributed memory layer. This provides privacy-by-default and lower cost-per-request for customer service bots.

6/ Bottom line: SIBYL isn’t the most mature yet, but it’s delivering top-tier memory performance with radically simpler architecture. One of the few tokenized agents that actually competes with (and sometimes beats) serious non-tokenized players on the metrics that matter.

two pieces of the sibyl stack are getting their moment at once.
memory was the gap. users of hermes agent by @NousResearch have been looking for a proper solution. the architecture that scored 95.6% on longmemeval is being made available to them. pip install. embedded postgres. local-first.
inference was the lock-in. our distributed memory layer behind customer service bots and app assistants runs on @AskVenice. privacy by default. lower cost per request. an invisible bridge between decentralized web3 infrastructure and everyday web2 users.
the rest of the stack is already being written.
