Those programme notes from last week look even more stupid now. Admitting defeat on the season and then having the team below us beat us and finish in Europe the week after. Pretty much sums up the attitude and ambition.

Only the two relegated teams in worse form than Everton in the last 6 games and it shows.

Everton were never doing anything but turning up and putting in that kind of performance and the fact every Everton fan knows that is telling.

Whatever way the club wants to frame it, this has been an atrocious end to the season. Europe was there for the taking and they’ve completely wasted the opportunity. Expectations were raised after Chelsea, but the club failed to deliver on every level. Hugely disappointing.

Instead of sacking him now and getting Iraola, we'll let Moyes sign a bunch of 30 year old prem has-beens in the summer, sack him in October and scramble around to find a replacement

13th then. What a waste of a season. Teams like Sunderland playing in Europe while Everton use the excuse of a “two window plan”. Honestly don’t get how anyone can see any positives from the season but some people will try. Always next year. 👍🏼

A limp, uninterested, pathetic final performance of the season. Players checked out, manager bereft of ideas. This season shouldn't have ended this way.
