March has been exciting! From welcoming future educators at the job fair to celebrating and raising funds at the CCEF Gala, it’s been a month of impact and innovation! Students curiosity was ignited during #STEM Night and now we prepare for Science Olympiad and career day!

It’s Read Across America Week! As part of the nationwide reading event that coincides with Dr. Seuss’s birthday, our schools are hosting special activities like guest readers - including our School Board members. Today, School Board Vice Chair Patsy Jordan read to all fifth-graders at Ball Ground ES STEM Academy. Literacy is a foundational skill that our School Board is investing in further by setting English Language Arts and literacy student performance goals, developing its first School Board Policy centered on literacy, and adopting expanded English Language Arts instructional resources for next school year.
