Crystal Quade to lead Downtown Springfield Association as new director news-leader.com/story/news/loc…

A witness shared this video with me showing an ICE officer shooting a driver in an SUV in south Minneapolis. DHS says the woman is dead.

Statement from Senator @lincolnhough: “This was one of the darkest weeks I’ve served during my time in the senate. If the votes that I cast this week that I believed were in the best interests of my constituents in Springfield, the State of Missouri, and the institution of the Missouri Senate put me at odds with the President Pro Tem of the Senate cost me my chairmanship of the Appropriations Committee then so be it. I wouldn’t change any of them. I’m looking forward spending my time and energy during my last session on the floor of the senate working every day to restore this institution to place of honor I inherited we from Senators Richard and Wasson.” It’s my understanding that Senator Rusty Black will take over the duties of chairman.

Senators Nurrenbern and Beck discuss with Congressman Cleaver his efforts to lower the cost of housing, groceries, prescription drugs, and more. Meanwhile, Missouri Republicans continue to push policies that have made life unaffordable for most families. #moleg @MaggieforMO @DougBeck562 @repcleaver

Today, I am calling on the General Assembly to take action on congressional redistricting and initiative petition reform to ensure our districts and Constitution truly put Missouri values FIRST.

“Soccer is for everyone.” Except the guy with the MAGA hat. And the other 77 million of you who voted for Donald Trump.

The largest Trump-Harris city is Lee's Summit, Missouri (KC suburb of 101K): 2012: R+16 2016: R+11 2020: R+1 2024: D+2

Just as President Trump and the federal government is reining in spending, the State of Missouri must do the same. While we do not have an economic problem in Missouri, we do have a spending problem in state government. Today, we issued 208 vetoes, totaling nearly $300 million in general revenue, and 32 expenditure restrictions, totaling $211 million in general revenue. 🔗governor.mo.gov/press-releases…

The Governor just cut millions of dollars in funding for education, child care, & job training in Springfield to pay for the wealthiest of wealthy people’s massive tax cut on capital gains. We need real change in this state, not someone who’ll rubber stamp the status quo.
