I’m not Bruno Fernandes' biggest fan and I’ve said that openly before. But here is the thing, United signed Mbeumo and Cunha who together registered over 50 G/A last season and still this season: Bruno Fernandes — 14 G/A in the league Mbeumo + Cunha combined — 14 G/A in the league United signed arguably two of the best players from last season and still the MAIN MAN is Bruno Fernandes. It’s even crazier when you realise he’s achieved those numbers while playing in a central midfield role. He’s frustrating to watch at times, but good players produce numbers in the league and he does that consistently. I think his flaws wouldn’t be nearly as obvious if he was surrounded by great players.
