Selamat Hari Raya from the CSCEC Malaysia family. Gift bags passed between hands, laughter that didn't need a reason, and the kind of warmth that sneaks up on your mid-workday. Different countries, different backgrounds — same team. Hari Raya is about coming home. And sometimes, home is also the people you show up for every day. Wishing all who celebrate a joyful and peaceful Aidilfitri.

Some buildings fill a skyline. Leeza SOHO reshapes it. Designed by Zaha Hadid and built by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division, Leeza SOHO's 172,000 m² tower in Beijing's Lize Financial Business District is defined by its two interlocking halves and a central atrium that twists 45° as it rises — at 194 m, the tallest in the world. Every glass panel, every steel beam — set to exact tolerance, at scale.

Calm, practical, and always ready to lend a hand, his hearty laugh and friendly jokes bring warmth to the busy site. A Malaysian Chinese with a decade at CSCEC, he treats the project as his second home. For him, the greatest satisfaction is seeing the team work confidently and smoothly. Syazuan starts his day before the work does. As HSE Officer at Pavilion Square in Kuala Lumpur, his morning is a full site walk — access routes, work zones, crew briefings. On one round he caught a protective measure that wasn't quite right, stopped, fixed it with the crew, and moved on. Small thing. But that's exactly the point. Salute to Syazuan and every frontline builder keeping our sites safe.

“Overseas, Yet Close to the Spirit of Home” Though far from home, the feeling of Chinese New Year is right here with us. No distant worries — only the warmth of those around us. This Spring Festival, under Malaysia’s gentle sunshine, we wandered through lively streets filled with red lanterns and festive cheer, embracing a celebration with its own unique charm. We’ve come to realize that the true spirit of the New Year isn’t found in grand ceremonies or elaborate traditions, but in the people beside us and the warmth we share.#ChineseNewYear #CNY2026 #CNYinMalaysia #HomeAwayFromHome #TogetherOverseas

From early morning to evening, Nashrullah can always be found walking the site, carefully checking key structural areas. As the Site Supervisor for civil and structural works, he stands on the front line of safety with quiet focus. To him, safety is not a slogan, but dimensions, connections, and standards checked again and again — ensuring every structure, and every person on site, is protected. #CSCECMalaysia #SafetyFirst
