Great to run into one of our Peace Officer teams while out for a walk on Stephen Ave. Our Council team is united in our focus on public safety. The 2026 budget invests $94M in downtown safety, safer transit and CTrain coverage during evening rush hour, stronger 9-1-1 operations, and support for CPS to hire officers, replace aging vehicles, and upgrade facilities.

Working on the Vulnerable Persons Unit, I come across many types of items. Some like these are taken off the streets and out of any wrongdoing ways helping keep Calgarians safe.

@derekrogden I believe it’s the height of the storm. Larger numbers means more intensity and bigger hail. You can see the hail suppression planes flying through the storms to try and reduce the intensity.
