Coach Steve Oury was inducted into the Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame this past weekend. Both he and former Coach Danny Westbrook received Meritorious Awards recognizing their work as coaches for the Arkansas Oklahoma All Star Cross Country Meet. Congratulations!

QUALIFIED FOR STATE 🤖 Congrats to the BHS Robotics Team for their performance at the Bryant VEX Robotics Tournament. Teams earned Tournament Champion, Skills Champion, Overall Excellence and Design Champion. All three BHS teams are state bound!

Due to continued weather conditions and icy roads, Bryant Public Schools will be closed today (Thursday, February 2).

The decision regarding school on Thursday, February 2 will be made in the morning. Our administrators will be driving and assessing road conditions in the early morning hours. If school is closed tomorrow, families should expect to be notified around 5am.

Some news to share: after nine years, I've made the difficult decision to leave KATV after it became clear the needs of the station have changed. Dec. 31 will be my last day. First and foremost, I want to thank the loyal viewers of what has been a historic station in this state.

This speaks to a great program and a great coach!

The Bryant School Board honored the unprecedented 5-time 7A State Football Champions, the Hornets. Coach Quad Sanders was the recipient of the 2022 Broyles Award. Coach Buck James earned his 212th all time victory as head coach of the Hornets with their state championship. #212

Congratulations to the Bryant HiveFive League of Legends eSports team which finished State Runner-Up. The team entered the playoffs as the #10 seed and beat the #7, #2, and #11 teams to advance to the finals, where they met the #1 seed. It’s the best finish in program history!
