His computer contained searches for how to pry open a door with a crowbar, how to wash gunpowder off hands, and the Quincy police department's response time. He had purchased a bicycle under a fake name online, which was found abandoned half a mile from his home on the night of the m*rder. Becky's sister told Tim at sentencing: "Maybe you should have Googled childhood PTSD in between your internet searches for homemade silencers and VIN numbers." The judge sentenced him to natural life, saying: "Mr. Bliefnick, you researched this m*rder, you planned this m*rder, you practiced this m*rder. You broke into her house and you shot her one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen times." Their three sons, aged 5, 10, and 12, now live with Becky's parents.
