Firestation closed for event day or gate set up duration. Narrow public access routing maybe just for residents on Kenmore so there’s no crowd crush in tiny corridors. Then the majority of the public space on the immediate outfield perimeter would become like Gallagher way or a separate ticket. From a public safety standpoint especially for the derby, I don’t how mlb wouldn’t want to limit the amount of people on Waveland+sheffield.

@CubsBallhawk This makes the most sense. I don’t know how they’ll logistically do it but I’m sure they’ll find a way. It’ll be interesting to see what they do for it during the HR Derby too

MLB is going to need to revisit setting a base running lane to 2B. This is multiple times this has happened. Twins Keaschall went well out of his way to affect the throw. Cubs Swanson ends up taking deflected throw to mouth
