A desperately unlucky #youngcuckoos played their part in a fantastic, physical, edge of your seat game yesterday at Waunfawr.A great advert for grassroots rugby. Defence was the order of the day in this tight encounter. The result didn’t go the way we wanted but we will move on.

This Sunday we welcome to Waunfawr, @PontypriddR. We had a tough, physical battle earlier in the season so we will be expecting nothing less in the return fixture. The cuckoos will be ready for the challenge ahead. @RiscaRFCMandJs @RiscaRFC

A Sunday trip to the capital to face our good friends @clwbrygbi. A tough, high‑quality game between two skilful and physical sides. The Cuckoos’ expansive rugby proved the difference and they took the win. Thanks for the invite and best of luck for the rest of your season.

Great to get finally get a game in. We travelled to @OldTyleryanRFC for a home fixture and welcomed Caerphilly 16s. A depleted squad and poor discipline made hard work against a well drilled Caerphilly 16s side. The #youngcukoos getting the W, 38-24

Fingers crossed we get a game this weekend after what seems like an age. Back on home soil against Caerphilly 16s. Looking forward to the matchup after a couple of seasons not seeing each other. @RiscaRFC @RiscaRFCMandJs

As always a tough game travelling away to @PontyclunB especially given the weather conditions but the boys dug in and held their own for the majority of the game. Thanks for having us lads and good luck for the remainder of the season

Dragons Cup Group stage, last one for the boys - Well what an afternoon. 4 games, 4 wins. Boys were absolutely superb. Defence was immense, some excellent tries scored, effort off the scale. Cup semis here we come.

Sunday we travelled over to our dragons rivals, @ppoolutdMandJ. After a recent loss the #youngcuckoos were looking to turn fortunes around and that they certainly did. A magnificent win on the road to end the year. Fantastic post match hospitality as always from pooler. 👍

Sunday we welcomed @OldIlltsRFC down to Waunfawr. As with previous games, another tight, feisty affair ensued. Boys giving their all with a depleted squad. Cuckoos taking the Win.
