There's a huge PR operation underway to make people feel sympathy for the gardaí after their actions during the fuel protests. I'm not falling for it. I remember how gardaí spent years invading cities, towns and villages across Ireland, forcing bus loads of migrants into communities who didn't want them.

Dr Gerard Waters ,GP
I see that Dr Leo Varadkar GP is back from lecturing in America . Remember that Leo’s field of expertise is as a medical doctor in which he has spent over ten years training yet he got the most important diagnostic question of his entire life totally wrong ,namely the pathogenicity of a mild Coronavirus virus and the interventions necessary for its treatment . Remember he had all the true timely data quite apart from what I was telling him via a mutual medical friend during early 2020 ,now proven correct . He has a great deal of blood on his incompetent hands.

The leader of Fine Gael in the EU parliament, Seán Kelly MEP, today suggested in an article in the Sunday Independent, that Ireland should support the end of the veto for EU member states at European Council level. This would mean the end of any meaningful national democracy, not just for Ireland, but for the whole of Europe. The direction of our nations would be decided by unelected bureaucrats in the EU commission. And our elections at national level would cease to have any meaning whatsoever. Irish neutrality would die on the altar of "international obligations" and we would almost certainly be drawn into global conflicts that the EU felt suit their economic interests. He stresses that this must be forced through quickly and without much scrutiny, so as to reduce the possibility of any country electing a leader on the populist right or left who might disagree with this course of action. This is nothing but disdain for national sovereignty and the democratic decisionmaking of ordinary citizens. Mr. Kelly feels that the Irish population are so overwhelmingy pro- EU that none of this would matter to them. He cites EU funded Eurobarometer polling. If he is so sure that this is the case, he should be advocating a referendum to decide the matter. I cannot believe the current state of our politicians who have so much disdain for democracy. They should hang their heads in shame.

I say this as someone who has tremendous respect for the Gardai, but in law, all members of An Garda Síochána are supposed to have a visible and recognisable identity number on their uniform whilst on duty, so where is it, because without it they're just mercenaries in a uniform

In the first image is Garda George Magdelina, who is currently suspended and before the Criminal Courts, where he is being prosecuted in relation to an alleged attack on his daughter. Magdelina, along with Kim Duffy (pictured in the third image counting votes for Jack Chambers), assaulted me in the Central Office on 11 November 2024. On that day, I had a scheduled appointment. As I entered the Central Office, Duffy and Magdelina set upon me. Both individuals physically assaulted me: Duffy struck me with punches and kicks, while Magdelina grabbed my hand and forcefully twisted my thumb backwards until I was dragged completely out of the Central Office. In the fourth image, Duffy can be seen seated behind the locked public door, while Magdelina stands guard alongside another Garda member. As a result of this incident, I suffered significant pain and injury. I attended Mullingar Hospital later that evening. I was unable to move my hand for approximately one week, and it took several months to fully recover. I have since issued High Court proceedings against Duffy and Magdelina under record number H.P. 2025/6367.

@GMbunchanumbers @FineGael Now, that being said, SNA supports are brilliant, and if there is more funding towards that and that funding is directly impacting the availability of SNA staff and utilities, that is a major win

@GMbunchanumbers @FineGael My kids' school did, we got a letter from CAMS stating they had said the kids had no issues, and we have the letters from the school. CAMHS lied to reject assessment, will go private, but my point is, the funding for disability isn't reaching the people with disabilities

@GabeZZOZZ Europe was sold as unification of currency, freedom of travel and freedom of trade, Europe had the potential to achieve many things now it is a fascist totalitarian dictatorship, but considering how Germany was formed in 1871, not surprising how we've arrived here

@KB6233 Nah, the original poster is making a big deal out of nothing, Hungary is still in the EU, it's just a formality, he can't be a member of the EU as an individual and be leader of the Hungarian government, it's a technically not a fracture in EU nations

If the Social Democrats want to talk about standards of debate, they might have thought to let me know before they let journalists know that they'd gone to the teacher. We didn't shout over female TDs. We shouted over Ministers. But I congratulate the Social Democrats on being able to tell the difference - I had genuinely thought they didn't know what a woman was. It is a bold new strategy which sees an opposition party filing a formal complaint because government Ministers were held to account. Not even their own Ministers. Someone else's. The Social Democrats remain the only party in Leinster House who would remind the teacher she forgot to assign homework. #fuelprotest #ireland

🇮🇪 In Ireland, police officers are now being DENIED SERVICE and KICKED OUT of restaurants and other businesses following their violent crackdown on peaceful protesters last week. THIS is how you treat traitors who have sold out their own people! 👏👏

I'll make a longform YouTube video on this. It will be a good opportunity to go through everything and show people how state-funded media frames a story. Luckily this is about me, I have everything recorded and I have the platform to show people exactly how this works.

At the height of last week's fuel price protests, a GoFundMe page was set up to by food and hot drinks for those who had brought parts of the country to a standstill. A week later the page has raised €150,000 - but what's going to happen to the money? jrnl.ie/7013354t

TDs to be told gardaí may claim to 'smell cannabis' as pretext for unlawful searches Legal experts say the tactic is used to bypass gaps in police powers, disproportionately targeting young men in working-class areas. Ó Concubhair is expected to cite a number of reports from UK policing about stop and search practices but will also suggest that one of the reasons why senior gardaí have pushed back against the decriminalisation of drug possession for personal use in Ireland is because stop and search powers relating to drugs are used “in crime detection beyond drug offending”. thejournal.ie/stop-and-searc…
