@mattesque A swish ends at its peak leading to something else, such as quick move with a knife stabbed into something. I used to previously (as a kid in the 90s when working) to call these "come ups" A swoosh is longer, works as a masking process for whatever comes next crossfading into it

I have a first hand audio experience with snoring and found something super interesting. Do I happen to know someone who researches in or works with snoring medically ?

@anicic_filip @HogwartsLegacy @warnerbros @AvalancheWB I work on stereo setups all the time and make games in atmos, full surround and everything, so absolutely possible to work on a different setup than the end users.

@CujoSound @HogwartsLegacy @warnerbros @AvalancheWB You mentioned that you are experienced with Wwise. I was wondering if you know is it possible for Wwise to output from Unreal, a custom 24 channel surround sound audio format, while I work on a stereo setup?

@anicic_filip @HogwartsLegacy @warnerbros @AvalancheWB I don't see why it shouldn't be possible, but actually don't know if Wwise allows that many outputs, but I would assume it just follows whatever driver setup you have. But it can run lots of ambisonics and lots of orders - so I don't see why not.
