The original 1989 PUPPET MASTER is a very different film from the 14 sequels. It's much more of a murder mystery, than a puppet slasher. It's also surreal, and an interesting story. Even has a cameo by @barbaracrampton It proved that direct to video could be very successful!

Halloween franchise actor Beau Starr has passed away at 81 years old. Beau Starr played Sheriff Ben Meeker in both Halloween 4 & Halloween 5 back in the 1980s. He later appeared in Dario Argento's Masters of Horror episode, Jenifer. Starr also appeared in Fletch & Goodfellas.
