@CupcakeGGWP @WhalesGawd Apple brought RCS messaging to iOS 18 which is basically all the features of iMessage. Android has had it for years. If you use Google messages, which Samsung is pushing users towards, you can enable RCS if it's not already enabled, it's right at the top of your settings

@CupcakeGGWP Highly recommend a Google Pixel. "Hold for Me" as a feature is amazing, and it's been the killer thing for me Android wise. Being able to not care at all when I'm on hold, and get other work done, has been amazing.

@CupcakeGGWP Id say to stay on the Galaxy side iphone doesnt give you much of an option to increase your storage space. If you have any need for earphones,youre forced to do Bluetooth.otherwise you have to buy an adapter. feels like youre more inclined to spend more with iphones in general

@CupcakeGGWP Yes they are!!! And I think that's a big reason why so many ppl feel forced to go to iOS. So many of my friends keep saying they're not getting my messages and I keep telling them to update to iOS 18 and it'll be better 😭

@CupcakeGGWP I had an iPhone 11 since it came out. Got the Pixel 8 Pro and it's a literal unit. It has better camera functionality, more storage, access to way more Google system features and looks nice. I will now only purchase the Google Pixel.

@ROZEPOP oooo that's interesting, I use my voice notes app all the time, I didn't realize there was a layering system in the iphone version... hm..

@CupcakeGGWP I have the Galaxy s23 ultra rn and the few things that make me want iOS are iMessage Controller support for genshin And the ability to record multiple tracks in the voice notes in iOS 18. It would be useful to me as a musician.

@ROZEPOP The messaging experience is the ONLY THING pushing me towards the iPhone. They're such fuckers about it. Happy to hear this is changing!

@CupcakeGGWP IMO, galaxy is the best. More versatile. And with iOS 18 bringing RCS messaging to iPhone, iPhone and Android users will have better messaging experiences. Also, it's very niche, but the Galaxy fold is literally the most fun I have had with a phone. But it's super niche (...)
