📋 POST-MATCH REVIEW & POST-SEASON REVIEW | #NFFC 1–1 #AFCB 🏟️ City Ground | Premier League 🏆 📅 24/05/2026 What a way to sign off the season. 🍒❤️ 18 games unbeaten. European football secured for the first time in our history. Honestly… it still doesn’t feel real. As someone born and raised in Bournemouth, I genuinely never imagined we’d see nights and moments like this. From where this club has been to now talking about a European tour next season… it’s unbelievable. Massive credit to this group and especially Andoni Iraola. What he’s achieved here has been incredible. He completely changed the mentality, identity, and belief around this club. We’ll forever be thankful for what he’s done for Bournemouth, and honestly, it hurts knowing this was his last game. I really wish he was here next season to lead us into Europe. 🍒 The second half of the season especially, the defence improved massively. That stability changed everything for us. Which is why it’ll be such a shame potentially losing parts of that back line this summer. Adrien Truffert was my Man of the Match today. Another assist, another top performance. Mr consistent all season. His fitness levels are unreal, always available, always giving everything. Such an important player for us. 💪 And now… Europe. Actually saying that about AFC Bournemouth is crazy. 👀🍒 On a personal note, this club and the AFCB community have genuinely helped me through a very dark year. Football doesn’t solve everything, but Bournemouth and the people around this club always gave me something to look forward to when I needed it most. And now I’ve got some nice little European holidays to look forward to too. 😭🍒 This season has also pushed me even more towards my own dream of becoming a professional scout and hopefully one day working for Bournemouth. Lastly, thank you to everyone who’s interacted with my posts this season, followed me, or shared my content. Sorry it wasn’t always consistent, life got hectic at times, but next season I’ll hopefully be posting even more in-depth content around transfer targets, loan watches, academy players, and international/World Cup watches for our lads abroad.
