What do you make of the Prime Minister seemingly struggling to remember lockdown rules? He was asked to clarify the situation in the North East of England - and floundered over how many people can socialise inside and outside homes. Does it just prove the rules don't work?

Apologies, I misspoke today. In the North East, new rules mean you cannot meet people from different households in social settings indoors, including in pubs, restaurants and your home. You should also avoid socialising with other households outside. (1/2)

Was the Government's 10pm curfew on pubs and restaurants a bad idea? This weekend crowds were spotted spilling out of venues and onto the streets with no social distancing in sight. Could this fuel the second wave of the virus? Or would it happen regardless of when pubs shut?

It’s clear there are zero practical health benefits from the 10.00 pm curfew. (It may possibly be having a detrimental impact). And we all know the economic impact. Ministers need to be grown up enough to say “OK, we got it wrong”.
