@Daisy_Dook "British" is a conglomerate term that many natives don't want to be associated with. They are proud to be Welsh, Scottish, Irish, English & not lumped in together. "British" is a muddied/ambiguous term, which means many things to different peoples.

@Daisy_Dook You should probably stop clinging to the word "British" so much. It was a global empire & part of that process was absorbing other nations into "Britishness", it has come to mean citizenship. The term however does not include ethnicities, which remain individual even in the UK.

Being a British citizen doesn't make you British.
