Technically, yes Damascus has enough strength to topple Hezbollah (doubly so with Turkish assistance… quintuple that with American assistance), but that’d require pretty much annexing the one part of Lebanon where the Syrian government isn’t exceptionally popular. Jolani might agree to this, but only if the US assists with bringing the Suweida conundrum to a peaceful resolution and we push the Israeli government to exit Quneitra and at least part of Golan.
