The 2026 Montana’s Brier has come to a close, and what an incredible week it was here in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Today marks the end of an incredible chapter for Newfoundland and Labrador curling.
After an extraordinary career representing our province and country with pride, Brad Gushue will play his final game at the Montana’s Brier.

Prior to the NL-Gushue vs NL-Young game, they brought out Team Locke. They’re Memorial University’s U Sports/CCAA women’s national curling champion. They will now travel to China in January, 2027 as Team Canada.
