Could hotels write off the value of hotel room costs by donating emergency victims overnight stays in the hotels to non-profit organizations? #konalow

I just learned that Hawaiʻi is the #1 occupied state in imprisoning women. Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander women make up the majority. Depressing.

Currently reading "Uses of Anger," by Audre Lorde At work there's a guy who's been harassing staff for years. In the last 2 days I've listened to him scream with cops present for 20-30 min. It amazes me what non-Black & Brown people can get away with.

You and your people have been able to whisper sweet things and grit revolutions through their teeth in your mother tongue. What does that taste like? Freedom?

Another author who speaks about their complicated relationship with their mom - Janet Mock. We often avoid talking about how many of us were raised by everyone BUT our mom. I love hearing about her experiences on Oʻahu. The juxtaposition of being raised in multiethnic homes.

@GodsGift1229 @Skool_boi Hey, I'm 13 yrs locd. @GodsGift1229 is right. This is a good. Be careful of too much oil build up. Use a clarifying shampoo twice or so a year to help your locs breathe after dousing it with oil regularly. Also, do a deep conditioner treatment so that moisturizer soaks in.
