Mark Levin warns today’s anti-war right resembles the isolationists who ignored Hitler and put “sheets over their heads” before WWII. “[FDR] was having the same problem.” “He had these isolationists who were ignoring everything that Hitler was doing.” “And [FDR] was saying to the American people, we have people in our country who are putting the sheets over their heads when they go to bed, who don’t want to see what’s happening—don’t want to hear what these people are saying.”

Jewish Protestant Andrew Klavan of the Daily Wire called the Pope’s call for an end to conflict with Iran “girly” and said invoking Jesus was “wrong.” Klavan is also supportive of his son’s gay marriage. Follow: @AFpost

@MattWalshBlog That shouldn’t be his career. That should be his freedom. He’s a member of the US gov’t, allegiance to another country is treason.

He explicitly says that he's "with Israel" over "isolationist" Americans. In a sane society that kind of statement would be the end of his political career. You shouldn't be pledging your undying loyalty to any foreign country at all, period, much less explicitly placing your loyalty to it over your loyalty to the constituents you were elected to serve.

@JeremyDBoreing I’ve been reliably informed that Israel is a multi-ethnic state. Therefore, criticizing it cannot be antisemitic.

It is absolutely possible to criticize the policies of the State of Israel without slinging antisemitism. But all the most prominent critics of the State of Israel seem determined to prove it isn't.

@qbromley2112 @MattWalshBlog It isn’t particularly difficult. A modern fantasy country based on a post-Christian pity-party isn’t relevant to OT promises that, per the text, were fulfilled at the end of Joshua’s life. Btw, you forgot about the curses that follow from unfaithfulness.

The whole debate about which countries have "the right to exist" is based on a false premise. There is no "right to exist" for nations. What does that even mean? How can a country be entitled to exist? Every country on Earth came into existence through force and remains in existence through force. If you can't defend your existence, you will not exist anymore. The history of civilization is full of countries that existed and then ceased to exist. Are the rights of those countless now non-existent countries being perpetually violated by their non-existence? It makes no sense. If you can defend your existence, then you can exist. If you can't, then eventually you won't exist. It's really that simple. A right is an entitlement, by definition, and there is no country that has an eternal entitlement to exist whether it can defend and support itself or not. The very concept is absurd, meaningless.

Israel doesn't chant "death to America" in their parliament. Israel doesn't call us the great Satan. Israel didn't orchestrate the Beirut barrack bombing. Israel didn't build IEDs to blow up Americans in Iraq. Israel doesn't fund terrorists all over the world. Israel didn't attack our embassy holding our people hostage. The illegitimate tyrannical Islamist government of Iran most definitely is our enemy.

Meanwhile...The Trump administration has quietly introduced an effort to repeal the 17th Amendment, which would rob you of your right to vote for representation and, instead, have your Senators appointed FOR you. But don't mind me.....After all, I'M the one who betrayed MAGA. Remember?

@RepODLS You are aware that the individual State legislatures were intended to appoint senators right?

WTF?? House Republicans just introduced a measure to REPEAL the 17th Amendment of the US Constitution. They want to ban the people from voting for our US Senators. Instead, they want the Legislature to appoint our Senators. WTF are they thinking?

These stories never fail to make my jaw drop. A CPS worker ruled this family neglected their son because they...let him ride his scooter a third of a mile away. They’re now living under a government “safety plan” for behavior that was normal just a few decades ago.

Mallerie Shirley let her 6-year-old ride his scooter a third of a mile to the playground. A stranger reported her to child services. Read more: reason.pub/4r7xhcE

I think a potential downside of democracy, where everyone gets an equal vote simply for existing, is what happens if one generation is, for whatever reason, significantly larger than all the others. That generation could dominate the political system, essentially creating an age-based oligarchy. For example: when this generation was young and trying to buy houses, they could vote for politicians who made housing cheap and plentiful. Then, once they aged and wanted their home values to skyrocket, they could elect politicians who added layers of building restrictions—driving up their property values while making housing unaffordable for everyone else. Wait…

χαῖρε, "Hail," is used five times in the New Testament, Matt. 26:49 "hail, Master" Matt. 27:29 "hail, King" Mark 15:18 "hail, King" John 19:3 "hail, King" A royal salutation used insincerely in each case. Only one sincere use, Luke 1:28 "hail, Mary" Queen.

@ConceptualJames She has more claim to the title “American” than Vivek. That isn’t a judgement of how well she fulfills that obligation. Hopefully that helps.

@paulbrowntx Do the Lakota, Comanche, Navajo, Apache, and Ute have the same right? Per your logic, the answer is yes, otherwise you hate all Athabaskan Iroquois descended people.
