We had a pretty scary Easter dinner requiring an ambulance for my 79 yo father and while I'm relieved to share he's OK and we've ruled out the big scary stuff - he's been in the hospital since Sunday night and I'm running on adrenaline, caffeine, and cadbury mini eggs. 2/2 🧵

This week has been tough. Ageing parents is tough. And just like they don't teach you about taxes or mortgages in school, they certainly don't teach you coping mechanisms for this stage of your adult life. 1/2 🧵
