@TheCreativeFury How depressing. Not to mention wrong. What about imaging a better self, or a better future and striving towards it? What about creativity? Leadership? Vision? All involve what can seem like a ‘delusional’ hope. All involve seeing things precisely not as they are.

Most of the times what we suffer from is not reality but our illusions and false hopes, the way we want to see the things as opposed to how they are. For if you see things as they are, there can be no disillusionment and thus the ensuing state of despair and unhappiness.
