A training was conducted by Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy for Maldives Customs Services Enforcement officers, to strengthen the implementation of the International Trade Control of Endangered Species Act and the CITES Convention in the Maldives. The training focused on identification of species, and the important role of customs officers at ports and borders to regulate and control wildlife trade.
