And in spite of all this, circumcision is still widely popular.

I’ve never seen a penis that either a) didn’t look great circumcised, or b) wouldn’t look better circumcised.

Some circumcisions are a little wonky, but any circumcision is better than the alternative 😵

A large reason so many men in the United States have such radically invasive foreskin amputations is because the infant foreskin/penis is anatomically very different than an adult penis/foreskin and in order to fully reveal the glans on an infant, the cosmetic presentation parents and society are looking for, “doctors” need to amputate nearly the entirety of the mobile penile skin system. It’s not uncommon for men to have scars halfway down their penis in the United States and for nearly half the total amount of skin on their penis to be amputated. Massive sensory and functional loss.
