Hey mate, i appreciate that some retweets may seem a certain way. But often ‘text’ can be read in a different view to how others perceive or intended. NEVER do i think negative of any group as a whole. Individual behaviours yes, of course. As all groups have bad. This thread for example, i feel has been perceived in your view not as i had intended. Whereas had we spoke in person re my original comment i feel you would understand my point & not see it as an overall pro-Isreal or anti-muslim sentiment. Also Superman 2025 opened in way more markets than Man of Steel. The argument that Superman was doing damage control is so idiotic because every DC movie that came after MoS and was connected to it continued to bring in more money and audiences. “Snyder’s fault” is pure copium.

Superman (1978) — $618.18M Superman II (1981) — $440.14M Man of Steel (2013) — $404.89M Superman (2025) — $354.18M Superman Returns (2006) — $345.55M Again, track trends. It barely beat out Superman Returns, a movie most fans despise (though I love it). Again, if the iPhone 1 sells 4 million units and the iPhone 2 12 years later sells 2.5 million units, Apple is not doing an victory lap saying their customers turned out in droves simply because a lot of customers turned out. That’s when a company goes “hmmm, we’re losing audience brand connection.” You’re making a critical logic error assuming your experience and love of the movie translates into the data patterns.
