Cutwater Frog Poison by Cutright x The Water Boyz 710 (Animal Face x Sin Mintz) Grown in CA Another take on the hottest strain out right now, and the Cutright x Water Boyz collab continues to go crazy. Cutright grows some of the best Frog Poison we’ve seen hit the market, and these jars show exactly why — loud gas, strong smoke, and top-tier bag appeal.

🍯🐸🧪: Frog Poison (1 Gram) (Full Melt) (90-119u) by @WCAoffical x @CutRight707 🧬: Animal Face x Sin Mintz Setup: Reverendmorse (Rig), @jptoroglass Slurper XL (Nail), Highly Educated (Pillar), Zach Brown (Slurper Cap), @TheDabRite (Temp Reader), Disorderly Conduction (Heating Element) Temp 🌡️: 500°F 🎵: OLYMPIC VINCE CARTER by @ActionBronson Appearance 👀: The appearance of this full melt was decent overall. It came pretty greased up, with all the greased heads spread out evenly across the jar rather than holding that fresh “beach sand” consistency you usually see right after processing that looks almost like snow. The melt had a light ivory color upon opening and a dry, chip away texture rather than being greasy, sticky, and easy to flag, which is from the melt drying out a bit. It looked fairly clean to the naked eye, with only a few pepper like specks present and nothing too concerning. There was one larger contaminant that stood out right away though, which I removed before diving in. Under my phone’s macro lens I noticed more of those small pepper like specks, but again nothing too serious. I also tried to identify that larger piece under the macro lens but couldn’t figure out what it was. I do have pictures, so if anyone knows or wants to take a look, feel free to reach out. Those pepper like specs are most likely microscopic plant material, broken trichome stalks, or damaged heads. As mentioned, the melt arrived very greased, which usually happens when it’s exposed to warmer conditions for too long. Melt is best stored in freezer conditions around -10°F to 0°F to help preserve that sandy texture. This jar most likely greased up during transport, where maintaining those temps consistently can be difficult. That said, a little grease does not impact how it smokes.  The melt came in one of the clear, flat jars that @WCAoffical typically uses for their melt, featuring both a top sticker and a wraparound label. The top sticker had a gradient of colors with light blue, purple, orange, and yellow with the West Coast Alchemy logo centered in black. The wraparound label was red and displayed the jar name “Frog Poison” in those same gradient of colors, with “#not the toad” printed underneath, along with a cartoon frog to the right in matching colors and a green test tube. It also included additional details such as the weight, micron range, collab brand, and noted that it was a single pull. 8.4/10 Aroma 👃: The aroma on this one smells really nice and rather loud. I get a really unique dank earthy sweetness right up front, followed by some funky onion but different type notes layered in there with a slight sweet lime citrus and a bit of cream notes that round it all out. The funky onion like notes I’ve heard some people describe as a swampy smell which I can see too. It’s a very complex terp profile that smells really good. I was also fortunate enough to smell the same strain in flower form, and what’s wild is how closely the nose on this melt mirrors the flower, basically identical.. 8.9/10 Taste 👅: The taste on this one is really nice and translates well from the nose. At lower temperatures around 480°F to 515°F, it delivers a nice lung expansion with a mouth coating profile with sweet, creamy, dank lime citrus, layered with a touch of savory funk that comes off kind of like an onion but layered in and isn't as pronounced as it is on the nose. I also tested it at higher temperatures around 550°F - 600°F to see how it handled heat, and it held up well. The flavor still came through well retaining those initial terps I get at lower temps with those sweet, cream citrus funk notes which I enjoyed. 8.6/10 Burn/Smoothness 🧼: This full melt burned pretty well. It melted nicely and left behind a light layer of residue on the nail that needed a bit of a cleanup, especially at those higher temps. There was no charring though, and it held a nice color while melting which was good. It also dabbed rather smooth overall with little to no harshness or discomfort but not the smoothest. 8.5/10 Effects 😁: The effects were also really nice. I found it delivering a strong, potent head high paired with a relaxing body high that packed a solid punch, especially when dabbing it at those hotter temperatures to really see how it handled heat. It’s nice for kicking back and watching a movie, listening to music, or just relaxing at the end of the day 8.8/10 Overall📝: This was a nice jar of melt from @WCAoffical and @CutRight707. The reason I decided to grab this one is because I wanted to see what the terps would taste like on this strain in full melt where I personally feel terps are expressed the best. I also got it because I wanted to see what all this frog poison/toad venom hype was and why people are still rambling about it to this day.  @WCAoffical is a well known California hash brand recognized for doing a lot of collabs with different well respected cultivators, like this one grown by @CutRight707. They also offer some of their own single source jars alongside those collabs. They’re known for dropping a wide variety of flavors per release, similar to “Feel Good” style drops, often with well over 15 options, which sets them apart from most brands that typically release closer to six or so. They’re also one of the only brands consistently putting out quality melt at this kind of scale. I would say this jar almost checked all the boxes. The nose, taste, effects, and overall melt quality were all solid, but the appearance category fell a bit short due to the noticeable amount of pepper-like specs present, especially that larger one visible immediately upon opening the jar. That said, it did not end up affecting the experience in the end because the melt still dabbed rather clean and burned relatively clean on the nail as well. Based on everything overall, I’d place this melt in the mid 5-star range. It had only a small amount of pepper like specs aside from that one larger noticeable spec, melted down well, and left behind only light residue on the nail. However, I would not consider it true 6-star melt, which is extremely rare to come across. True 6-star melt should have little to no visible pepper like specs present, fully disappear on the nail with virtually no residue left behind, and dab exceptionally smooth and clean from start to finish. Shoutout to @WCAoffical and @CutRight707! This was a tasty jar and I'm glad I got to try it because it puts into perspective why people enjoy the terp profile on this strain so much but honestly still to me I don't get the hype personally but then again everyone likes things more then others but I can understand why the love it as its got a unique taste that packs some nice effects and I mean who doesn't like that. That being said I probably would grab this jar again as it’s different but it's still nothing I'm too crazy on but I would definitely like to see how the terps are expressed on the cold cure now that I've had the melt. 8.6/10 #cannabis #rosin #coldcure #westcoastalchemy #wca #cutrightcannabis #frogposion #animalface #sinmintz #toroquartz #torobanger #toro #reverendmorse #mmj #rosinreview #hash #sinsemillaville  #stayhashy #terps #terpenes #terpchasing

Lemon Loaf 🍋🍞 by @CutRight707 @WaterBoyz710 The homies know I love lemon terps and always gonna jump on anything lemon so had to throw this in the bag. Bag appeal is absolutely out of this world, some of the stickiest buds I got this year. This flower glistens in the light with almost its entire coverage having full resinous heads. Nose for me is like a sweet funky lemon dough, very complex and unique. Smoked very smooth and clean while dumping resin. Flavor was initially some lemon funk and faded into some gassy lemon notes. My only complaint is I wish it stained a little more intense but nothing is perfect. Overall I really enjoyed this one, came in 4 buds that were glued together. @PacksFifthAve with the assist 🙏🏼
