@Cweitz99 Just unecessary over analyzation. Bashing a rookie when he clearly tried to get the puck deep just didn’t bank off the boards. Habs had no reason even going to OT or even being involved in this game. Don’t bash rookies when Habs had 14 shots and canes had 30 something.

Kapanen doesn’t get the puck in deep. Matheson and Dobson both heading for a change anticipating the chip into the Canes zone. Leads to all that open ice for Ehlers to walk in. Defensive breakdowns away from their own zone cost the #GoHabsGo in OT.

Guhle doesn’t get enough credit on this goal. Watch how he anticipates the puck coming up the wall and jumps in front of the Canes player instead of waiting for it which keeps the o-zone time alive. He was a beast all night long on both ends. #GoHabsGo
