Clarity, not "fluff." Our times call for a bold stance. 'The equality of God is not the equal outcomes for all, but equal opportunity for all.' - Dallin H. Oaks

@orsonprattsr Those that place the church in their relationship with a church above their relationship with God. And yes, there is a difference.

Jesus said man wasn’t made for the Sabbath... the Sabbath was made for man. I think the same applies to the Church. Sometimes we act like we’re made for the Church, when in reality, the Church was made for us.
What does that mean? We sustain it. We support it. We pay tithing. We love it. But it’s meant to support us, not replace what we worship.
When we start treating the Church like the object of our worship, we’ve gone too far. That’s not devotion... that’s an idol. God is who we worship. The Church is there to point us to Him.

Colliding political numbers in the US... with both the US as a whole and religious institutions all moving to the traditional right, while The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints membership moves to the left!

"To find a practical touchstone of peace in the contemporary world, Elder Oaks turns to the U.S. Constitution, for which he provides a much more robust defense than the reserved and conditional friendship for the Constitution touted by Mason and Pulsipher. Rather than promoting radical structural change, President Oaks insists that 'the key' to uniting a diverse and divided society is 'constitutional patriotism.'" - Read Part 3 of "Where Do We Turn For Peace?" @CwicShow How about first and foremost relying on the content given by prophets and apostles and clearly echoing what they teach and say.
English

There is an explosion of new content from faithful Latter-day Saints online. But there's a little bit of a divide between independent content creators and the more institutional ones. We need to build a bridge between these two sides. Otherwise, they're going to separate further, and they're not going to be able to work together... And I think that the Lord expects us to be able to work together.
English

Let me tell you what I mean... You've got a lot of independent content creators who are very gifted. They can speak to people! Their messaging is something that has a broad appeal, or even if it's niche, it gets to a lot of people. And then on the other side, you have academics and you have institutions that may not be as good as getting the message out to everyone. But in the case of academia, you've got peer-reviewed information. You've got people who have gone through an academic process in order to find truth. And that's needed! We've got to have a way of bridging that gap… So that everybody can complement each other, and we can get the proper message out to the world that is so desperately needed.

This group was formed to trick LDS women into voting left.

Mormon Women for Ethical Government is a radical-leftist organization that has nothing to do with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or its teachings, even though the name implies otherwise Thank you, @DataRepublican, for pointing this out and bringing receipts

"Without faith that God has the ability to guide fallible people, and without faith that we can trust His processes, our engagement with prophets and church leaders becomes like a never-ending audit of their righteousness and correctness. We end up spending tremendous mental energy armchair quarterbacking all of their decisions and statements, instead of working to fulfill God’s vision for our own lives." Jessie Buckley dedicated her Oscar award winning speech to being a mother and wife:
“I love being your mom. I can’t wait to discover life beside you… To understand the capacity of a mother‘s love is the greatest collision of my life. I would like to dedicate this to the beautiful chaos of a mother’s heart.”
