Ginger would be so proud of you. ♥️ I woke up to more mares in the pipeline needing help today. It’s an everyday thing, a steady stream of older broodmares who have no star power and who if we at @ThoroughbredRA can’t network for and save will slip into the abyss and disappear across the border to slaughter. Not being able to help is heartbreaking, the false narrative about not shipping, ransom and extortion makes it worse. Perpetuating the false narrative ensures more are not saved. These horses were willfully placed in harm’s way, they were not captured, there is no extortion. I am tired but I won’t stop fighting for what’s right, for the industry to do right by all of the horses, especially the broodmares.
