PRESTIGE HK CREATIVE DIRECTION AND STYLING：ALVIN GOH xiaohongshu UPDATE Concept 8 / REBORN “Freedom is being you without anyone’s permission.” Finally sharing the last look from the editorial shoot with T.O.P. When we collaborated on an editorial in 2022, it was still during the pandemic. Traveling wasn’t possible, so the entire shoot was planned and communicated online via Zoom. After our first conversation, which lasted over an hour, I already had very strong ideas for this project—I wanted to present it through the combination of art, fashion, and spirituality. At the time, I was the one who suggested inviting T.O.P for the cover. Coincidentally, that issue was the Art Issue, and I felt he was the most representative artist to embody this theme. This shoot also marked T.O.P’s first return after going through a period of personal experiences. We discussed making the editorial more narrative-driven and thematic, so that readers could truly see and understand his inner thoughts. In total, we designed eight looks. This is the eighth look — REBORN. After receiving the mood board, T.O.P loved it. He had only one request: whether the final look could include a pair of wings, symbolizing rebirth. We decided on this look immediately! ❤️ I feel there’s a strong sense of mutual understanding between us when it comes to styling—he fully grasped the theme of the shoot and what we wanted to express. The eighth look comes from Fendi Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021. It was specially shipped from Milan before the shoot.
