The US supports Israel unconditionally thus far, but if the UN, which is essentially a US construct which gives America geo-political legitimacy and influence around the globe, votes to recognize Palestine - the United States will finally have to choose between its two children.
To back Israel no matter what and damage the legitimacy and marginal effectiveness of the UN, or compel Israel to comply with the creation of a Palestinian State, which could lead to massive civil strife in Israel and lead to its inevitable colonial dissolution.

PSA for all soldiers everywhere: clear your sectors and continue to pull security while in a tactical environment. This is week 3 basic infantry training stuff that the IOF still can’t perform.
The combat axis east of Rafah:
1. The IOF are treating this area like a "motor pool" parking lot, even though the environment is clearly not secure. This is how you stage vehicles when you are parking them on your own base. To do do this in an operational environment is unbelievably stupid. Even the diaper troops should know better by now.
2. The fact that Al Qassam fighters are able to tunnel and come out right in the middle of the IOF formation shows they still have freedom of movement.
3. Those devices are the previously discussed "Shuath" EFPs (Explosively Formed Penetrators). They point them at the back hatch of the vehicle, the result is going to be absolutely lethal for the entire crew at that angle.

Notes about #Rafah:
1- There are about 1.7 people currently in #Rafah, including about 1.3 displaced persons.
2- Starting evacuation of the population without clear plans means intentional will to deteriorate the life of people.
3- Retention of ban on displaced persons to return home in the north leads them to gather in concentration camps in destroyed areas.
4- The evacuation is being carried out under brutal attacks on homes and people that led so far to 26 deaths and over 50 injured.
5- Attacking #Rafah will certainly affect the flow of humanitarian aid to other places in #Gaza as most aid pass through this city.
THERE MUST BE AN INTERNATIONAL PRESSURE ON THE OCCUPATION STATE TO GIVE UP ITS PREPLANNED GENOCIDE IN RAFAH!
