@david_roman_art @Eddy_564 @Stealth40k Keep in mind that Resonance is only a remake of the first season of Brave Exvius. While games like X-2, XIII-2 and LR, IV The After Years, and the Compilation of FF7 felt like they were continuing the original stories, they didn’t feel like they were completing them.

The intro of Final Fantasy Resonance uses what Square Enix calls "Cinematic Pixel" which uses pixelized 3D models.

@david_roman_art @Eddy_564 @Stealth40k I think you’re depriving yourself of some great stories that thoroughly justify their mainline placement. If you experienced them yourself, you would understand. Their storytelling and integration of traditional FF elements are in-keeping with mainline FF.

@david_roman_art @Stealth40k It’s a remake of a previously released mobile game. This stance only makes sense if you feel that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius should’ve been called Final Fantasy 17 on release.

@whateve44073653 @wii_with_wings Atlus’s PC release of P4G was connected to Sega’s push for greater utilization of the PC platform, so I don’t believe they’re entirely disconnected from the initiatives of Sega.

Here's: •A game that's been delisted in favour of a "remaster" •2 games that can only be bought in expensive bundles to make sure people buy the new versions •A game that was outright replaced by its sequel

@whateve44073653 @wii_with_wings I wasn’t saying it’s guaranteed to happen, just that Sega’s track record warrants a degree of caution. While I don’t expect P4G to be delisted any time soon, I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens in the future.

@whateve44073653 @wii_with_wings I wouldn’t be so sure. Sega owns RGG Studio and Sonic Team, which did that before. They also delisted the DC games suspiciously close to the announcement of a new JSR and Crazy Taxi. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Sega corporate thing.
