@Lethamyr_RL @Clix Rocket League is probably one of the easiest games I've played if we're comparing it to Fortnite

@darkrai_rl $200 a month so you can watch a bot play a game. I genuinely do not get it

Finally someone with a brain comments on this.
Anyone can inject anything into Rocket league, most cheats didn’t even use Bakkes as an injection “tool”, so EAC will make it harder and more tedious and expensive for people to use, run and supply cheats. Thus making them significantly less prevalent.
When these cheats run (idk for sure) but $10+/mo vs now needing a more sophisticated cheat making it $70+/mo for average people, it quickly becomes way less profitable and or feasible to sell accounts/boosts etc. aswell as significantly more likely those accounts get banned/detected.
Anything is better than nothing. It’s not and won’t be a 100% fix.

Rocket League didn't "get lucky" .. the game just wasn't worth cheating in at scale until now. But that's actually a good sign for where the game is headed.
EAC is battle-tested across Fortnite, Apex, Halo and dozens of other titles. That's the whole point of using a third party tool.. you don't need a massive dev team to maintain it. Epic will handle that.
Yes, people will continue to try to build undetected cheats... That's going to be true for every competitive game. But closing DLL injection removes the easiest attack vector .. the same one BakkesMod and most existing cheats both used.
Raising the floor matters, even if you can't build a perfect ceiling.
Kudos @RocketLeague this is massive for the game and people will eventually realize it.

RL got lucky for years bc there was no real way to cheat. Now that there is, people will 100% create new programs undetected by the new anti cheat, over and over again. This will be a real test for the devs. RL doesn’t have nearly the dev team like other major titles.
