Exactly, There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that statement. The media is shit and completely misconstrued what Neves said. He was simply defending Cristiano as a teammate and that he shouldn’t be singled out for any of the team’s bad performance, which is exactly what you would expect from someone in the squad. Turning his comments into a controversy criticizing him is unfair and misses the context of what he was actually trying to say.
