And before you ask, why don’t I take the bus? They are stuck in traffic with everyone else (especially in town and on College Rd). No additional busses during rush hour to accommodate more people. And overall cheaper to take car per journey than bus.

Yday, took 55 mins to get from University Quad to Renmore (5km, via College Rd). Tonight took 1:10. For perspective, it takes 11 minutes to do when not rush hour. Shitty infrastructure + poor public transport system = more cars = more traffic. Seriously, @GalwayCityCo

Delighted to be awarded an Agility Award from the @artscouncil_ie for practice R&D, with additional support from @RosArtsCentre and @UniGalwayDrama! Really excited to be back in the room in coming months, and be curious and playful!

Oh, and I once was left waiting 2hrs in the waiting room to get bloods done before I let myself out. If time is money then so is mine.

Also, to add, it’s €60 for that initial 15 minutes… and they explicitly tell you not to come in with a “shopping list of issues” (as they call it). I get that GP’s are small businesses - just shocked at their wording…

Blame my ignorance on growing up with universal healthcare, but is this the general mindset for GP’s in Ireland? Just found this on my GP’s website… talk about care. For 8 years I have avoided going to the Dr’s at all costs (literally). Any GP recommendations in Galway?
