I thank Nigerians across all parts of our country for their growing support and confidence in us and in the NDC. That trust has been the most important currency driving the party from its early days up until now, especially with the recent addition of my two distinguished colleagues.
What we are witnessing is a powerful convergence: my role as a party organiser and builder, alongside two political heavyweights with immense grassroots support, popularity and political experience, as well as several other leaders in their own right across the country, all coming together under one platform.
As I have consistently stated, our goal in the NDC is to build an ideological political party, one that can be compared to the ANC in its finest years in South Africa, as well as established political parties across Europe, America, India and even the Communist Party of China—in terms of stability, structure, and the ability to endure beyond its founders for generations to come.
The NDC is a party with a special place for young people and women, one that prioritises mentorship and prepares citizens for service. It is designed to serve the people, not just the big, strong, and powerful, but also the ordinary and the vulnerable.
For the record, the annexures show that we initiated the registration process for the NDC as far back as 2017 and that INEC granted approval at that time before the process was halted. When party registration resumed last year, we revisited and updated our earlier application. The other document shows a Google search we conducted on February 3, 2017, while searching for the appropriate “V-sign” as the party’s logo.
With my experience in politics, I am fully aware that an ambitious project of this nature will attract distractions—rumours, gossip, propaganda, and even blackmail. These are all parts of the terrain that we are used to. I therefore urge Nigerians to discountenance and ignore such propaganda about the ndc or any of its leaders and remain focused on the bigger picture.
I call on all Nigerians to join the NDC, register, participate, and contest elections. Together, let us reclaim and rebuild our country.

This is crazy!!!
I just moved into this estate two days ago..
Today a woman came to my flat to tell me about their "recognition fee"
According to her, once a new tenant moves in, he or she is expected to pay the sum of ₦250,000 as "tenant recognition fee"
The ₦250,000 will be used to buy drinks and gifts to officially welcome the tenant.
Neither the agent or landlord told me this when I paid my rent..
So after paying the sum of
₦1,700,000 as rent fee,
I will still have to pay hungry tenant another ₦250,000
I reported it to the agent and he said it's none of his business "they have rules, follow it"
The self acclaimed estate vise president said I will be disassociated if I don't pay it..
Please what will you do if you are the one cause this is crazy!!..??
Is that how you people that are living in estate do? This is my first time moving into estate..
Somebody talk to me please....

@naughty_libra07 Lock the criminal in jail and Kick him out of her life, then let the company that her email was hacked.

A friend returned from a weekend trip and noticed something was off.
Her boyfriend was unusually calm. Too calm.
She earns about ₦450,000 monthly. He wasn’t doing as well, but she never made it an issue.
For months, he had been complaining:
“You’re always busy.”
“You don’t have time for me.”
“This your work sef…”
She tried to balance things, but it was never enough for him.
One evening, she got a message from her boss:
“Why didn’t you inform us before sending your resignation?”
Her heart skipped.
“What resignation?”
They sent her a screenshot.
A well-written email. From her address.
“I’ve decided to step down due to personal reasons. Thank you for the opportunity.”
She froze.
She hadn’t sent anything.
She got home and checked her laptop.
Deleted.
That was when it clicked.
She confronted him.
At first, he denied.
Then he said:
“I did it for us. That job was taking you away from me. You don’t even have time anymore. We’ll figure something else out together.”
If you were the lady what would be your response?

When I was trying to gain uni admission, my mum approached my friend’s dad who worked in the uni.
He promised to help me and that we shouldn’t worry.
I was not convinced. So I approached another gentleman who was our church member, who worked in the same uni and he asked me to come to the school on a particular day. He promised to help me.
So, I told my mum but she dint want me to go but I was adamant. She eventually agreed and I went to the uni.
I met him and he said he already discussed my case with his boss. So, he asks me to follow him to his boss’s office.
Guess who the boss was!

@taiwoyedele @SenGodswill @officialABAT Why Tax those that are barely surviving. Let the Tax Benchmark be ₦5,000,000 and let Nigerians breathe!
If a Nigerian family of 6 to feed at the least is ₦2,628,000 annually, why then should the Tax start from ₦800,001.
Let's be fair!
English

This is the least meal anyone can survive on in a day. Even a can of malt or mujito is priced more than this.
@taiwoyedele most Nigerians cannot survive on this. Most Nigerians are barely surviving, hence, while expanding the Tax Net, let the Tax Benchmark also increase.
English

@taiwoyedele good day sir.
You have done a good work in regards to the Tax Reforms, thank you so much. In addition, looking at the current economic situation in Nigeria, I believe that no Nigerian with an Annual Earning of below Five Million Naira (₦5,000,000) should be taxed.

@tobilobaayo12 @ummuh_Zahra Na real awa nurse. I just tire for the guy!
English

@ummuh_Zahra Why not say you want a maid not a wife.
But she caused it sha because if not that she made herself too available for the mother, such thought would not have played out at all.
Oga find a maid and leave our nurse alone 🤣🤣🤣
English

I’m based in the UK and I started talking to this girl in Nigeria. She's a Nurse. Respectful. Homely. My mum liked her very much, I was so happy.
She would go to my mum’s house, cook, help out… everything.
So after about a year, I told her I want to marry her but that there's small conditions.
She would have to leave her job first, and then move into the big family house so she can help take care of my sick mum full-time.
Then later, I’ll process her visa so she can come and join me abroad.
Simple.
I thought it would be a simple yes, but she started asking questions.
Why can’t my sister take care of our mum?
Why can’t we make other arrangements?
I was honestly shocked.
Because what kind of question is that?
If you truly love someone, shouldn’t this be something you’re willing to do? This is somebody I send money to every month without her asking, I just feel like it's my responsibility, and I love her.
All this girls of nowadays sef! So you can’t take care of your mother in law?
Anyways, now that i have seen her real character, I'm thinking of the next thing to do.
Because this is not what I expected at all.

English

@eezharhh @girlsMum1 If she takes you to court, she will chop you. You brought her in, she didn't break in. How can you prove it was not a set up? What if at that moment, the dog had something wrong in its brain. While you review the footage, take the dog for proper check up!
English

I invited a friend over, and right away my dog started acting off. Barking nonstop, pacing, locked in on her no matter how much I tried to calm it down.
Then out of nowhere, my dog lunged and bit her arm, and everything escalated fast. It caught everyone off guard, especially me, because my dog’s always been around people and has never acted like that before.
Now she’s talking about going to urgent care and wants me to cover the cost. I told her I’m not trying to argue, but I’m not comfortable taking full responsibility without understanding what triggered that kind of reaction.
I even went back and checked my security footage and shared it with her so we can both see what actually happened. Right now, I’m just trying to make sense of it and figure out what caused my dog to react like that so it can be handled the right way moving forward.
