I got bullied Everything about me was torn apart- people called me “greasy” because I had curly hair. I wasn’t as skinny and fit as the other girls. So I was reading about King Solomon in the Bible, and honestly… this story messed with my head a little. In 1 Kings 3:12, God literally told Solomon that He would give him wisdom like no one before him and no one after him. Like… imagine being the wisest person to ever live. Ever. That made me wonder, Why did God make Solomon so special? Why give him wisdom greater than anyone else in history? Then I kept reading, and I found his downfall in 1 Kings 11. I was confused. Where did that wisdom go? How could the wisest man in the world end up worshiping idols? How could someone so wise make such foolish decisions? So I kept searching, reading, thinking…... and then I found this line that hit me hard: "If this was the case with the wisest man who ever lived, then what hope do we have apart from constant dependence on Jesus Christ? Let the example of Solomon drive us to greater dependence on Him." And that’s when it clicked. No matter how smart you are. No matter how blessed you are. No matter how high God lifts you. If you stop fearing God….. If you stop depending on Him..... You can fall. Badly. Even Solomon fell. And it honestly felt like God was talking straight to me: “Oh you want to be wise? Look at the wisest man in the world. See what happened when he stopped walking with Me.” God’s works are truly beyond our understanding. Praise the Lord!

The biggest mistake X made was taking away the value of followers Your content used to be distributed to your followers regardless of the "quality" Now it gets graded on time spent, engagement, etc And if it doesn't perform well within the first batch of people, the post will get nuked even if you have hundreds of thousands of followers I can't tell you how many people I used to see on my timeline that I don't see anymore And it's because the algo didn't view their content as optimized enough to surface to more people But I never followed the person because their content was optimized, I followed because I liked what the person had to say

Did a deep dive on teabags after the TL told us last week they were killing us all with microplastics. I knew twinnings, stash, and a few others claimed to be plastic free, but wondered about the tech. Turns out they have this machine (worth $300,000 new, from Germany) that makes and fills the teabags and it works by pressing super thin paper together to create a long tube and then filling and filing, then using a string to stitch it back together…. By doing this they use no glue, no staples, and no plastic. Never really stopped to look but a pretty cool marvel of engineering in its simplicity.
