@TT_stocks_ Sad I didn't get in 500 shares of DFNS mid $20's I had enough room to do it. Would have been a cool $20-40k pending how long I could and would have held out for. Usually I'm trailing it so I get stopped out anyways adjusting along the way.

@Remzztrades @TheDebtSlayer_ True but the fund started with only $150M and at its peak was worth $45B and after selling was worth $10B. Which means plenty still walked away up and I'm sure including himself. Only later investors would have been realizing losses.

@Remzztrades Well being on 4x leverage and up as much as he was without locking in profits or being hedged with married puts, collars etc is about as retail of a mistake as it gets. Makes you realize that 99% make simple mistakes that turn catastrophic.

Up until today Leopold was the next Buffett. Highly praised, glazed upon how well he did in such little time. Not a bad word to speak. As of today he's being cut up like an average retail trader on X does daily. Life comes at you quick and it opened my eyes to a lot.

@Gmanct1b @SylentTrade Partner Citadel put out a fake story about rate hikes and Leopold started getting destroyed and then reached a deal with Citadel for almost the whole portfolio. That's literally a coordinated and organized campaign to wash him out too much leverage knowing he wasn't protected.

@SylentTrade If that position size is accurate, the liquidation itself could explain a huge amount of the selling pressure. But “Wall Street organized a campaign” is still speculation the leverage and forced unwind are already enough to create a violent cascade.

Leopold got liquidated for his entire portfolio. He held over 11.7 million shares of $IREN. That is 400mil+ of selling pressure. Now we know where all the sellers were coming from. Wallstreet organized a campaign to force him to get liquidated. He was using 4x leverage apparently. Crazy stuff.

Tried to push the blame on Leopold by saying I was right all along but the victim of a targeted liquidation. Didn’t cut it. Still have counseling on Sunday.

I’ve genuinely been a bad father and husband during this sell off. My moods have been terrible, I’ve yelled more than a few times, and it has taken a toll on the family for sure. Losing 60% of net worth in less than 2 months was never in the plans. Looking forward to some sort of relief, whether it’s a market bounce or going to $0.
