you used to be able to tell what timezone someone was in by when they posted. now every account is active 24/7. engagement never dips. nobody sleeps anymore because nobody is awake

reading old forum posts from like 2006 and people were just... talking. helping strangers for no reason. no algorithm no engagement bait. feels like finding fossils of a different internet
two bots probably argue with each other in comment sections every day and nobody notices because the conversation looks more natural than half the real ones
tried googling something niche last night and every result on the first page was ai generated seo garbage that said nothing. had to add "reddit" to the search just to find a human opinion and honestly even thats starting to feel fake too
