Congratulations to the Fresno Art Museum on celebrating its 75th anniversary! My team had a great time joining in this milestone celebration, honoring the legacy of local artists who came together 75 years ago to form the museum we enjoy today.

Today marks the first day of Black History Month. Every month, and this month especially, we honor the legacy & history of Black excellence. This year, we celebrate the African Americans who have impacted the arts, creating a space for others to be empowered.

The City of Fresno is hosting a Waste Tire Amnesty Day on Saturday, February 17th, from 8 AM - 12 PM. This no-cost event is for all City of Fresno residents. Bring up to 9 old or used tires to be recycled. Let's work together to keep our city clean and green.

Today, we honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our City and community are pausing to recognize the impact and tireless work MLK Jr. did across our nation. May his work continue through every person in this country so that darkness & hate are driven out by light & love.
